A thoughtful facial oil for skin after 40
Seventh Hour’s first product is a custom-formulated facial oil being developed for dry, dull and changing skin.
It is designed to offer nourishment, comfort and barrier-supporting care—without treating ageing as something that needs to be corrected.
Why a facial oil?
As skin changes, it can begin to feel drier, less comfortable and less luminous than it once did.
I wanted to create one considered step that could become part of an evening ritual: a product that felt beautiful to use while giving skin the nourishment it was asking for.
Not a complicated routine. Not a collection of fashionable ingredients added simply because they sounded impressive.

What we are creating
The goal is a facial oil that leaves skin feeling soft, replenished and comfortable—without feeling excessively heavy, sticky or coated.
Every ingredient is being considered for the role it plays within the complete formula. The focus is not on chasing trends or making exaggerated promises, but on creating a balanced product that supports the needs of skin after 40.

Custom formulated in Australia
Rather than selecting an existing formula from a catalogue, I chose to develop Seventh Hour’s first product specifically for the brand.
The facial oil is being created alongside an Australian cosmetic chemist and will be manufactured in Australia.
That process takes longer, but it allows every decision—from ingredient selection to texture and skin feel—to be considered as part of the complete product.
Currently in development
Our first formula is currently moving through development, sampling and testing.
The final ingredients, claims and product details will only be shared once the formula has been confirmed. I want to be transparent about what the product can genuinely offer rather than making promises before the work is complete.
Thoughtful skincare takes time. We believe it is worth it.
